Modify a QA blank to pickup JD loader attachments

My neighbor has root grapple, for a JD standard loader, that we want to use on my tractor. My tractor has a SSQA loader. We have already pick it up with my tractor. The JD holding pins are wider and below the my QA plates. Thinking of making a blank plate that was tall and wide enough to use the JD pins? As anyone did this with any success? My concern is bending the plate were the pins come through.

While I have not used a JDQA to SSQA adapter, I don't see why you could not do it. Most of the weight and pressure is on the top hooks anyway unless you are back-dragging. I was thinking of using a solid plate though.

Yeah a solid plate may work a little better, I'm sure you look a little and can find others out there too. Be a good thing to have if a guy had access to some JD style attachments.

Thanks for finding that CB...That's what I was looking for but couldn't find it. Wasburn makes a lot of FEL "adapter" things.

Yes they do have a bunch of adapters and attachments, all there stuff I've seen is built tough.
