Cool pictures! My in-law(brothers father in law) is from Korcula, but the town name escapes me at the moment. We have been talking about a trip there with him, when the budget permits. He still has property, and extended family there.

Maybe this map can help in remembering?

Korcula is a beautiful island in southern Dalmatia, which I did not even come to visit. Hard to tell, whether there beautiful woman, or a better red wine.. :licking:

Hi Palomas,

I've been in Your country (Pula and not only) a couple of years ago. I was greatly impressed by Roman Empire Amphitheatre over there and by beautiful resort.:thumbsup:
One of my niece is married and living not far from your country - in Slovenia.
By the way Vladimirets tractor brand name is well known and popular in my country as well.
Are you selling the grapes to the wine producers or to the fruit traders?

Very very nice pictures!!!

Welcome to TBN.

Hi saracenas! We do not sell grapes, it is processed into wine, for our purposes. If there is a risk that the wine does not drink all, invite relatives and friends, and the problem is easily solved.

I'm joking, but we do have a long tradition of drinking wine (not beer).

What a BEAUTIFUL place to live!!!

Thank you for sharing all those photos with us, and if you ever get to Central Texas, we can compare wines....

Brings back lots of fond memories from past visits...

Even as a child, I can remember the donkeys laden with grapes on stone paths on the way to market...

Very friendly people there.

Yeah, that's a great picture ... Remindes me wonderful time spent in your country.

I'm adoring sweet grapes simply to eat. My wife is making the salad of cooked chicken with grapes ripped into two parts each. Indeed with some other ingredients and additives. It's ... :licking:

See - there are no 'smiles' with the glasses of wine. So there's nothing left to do except to clink the mugs of beer :drink:

Explanation for this is very simple - Beer is drink for the people (stomach), Wine for the Gods, and for the human soul. Difference is drastic.. :)

Depends on the beer :D I have tasted some exceptional beers.

I like wine too. I live in a great region of wonderful local wineries. Here is a smal sampling of wineries within 5-60 miles of my house. Many are small, where you get to talk with the owner/labor/vinter/bottler/cashier. Was at one last Saturday; It is a small mom and pop shop. Wonderful people.
