Kubota BX2660
It's official, new BX2660 just dropped off so now I'll start asking a lot of questions as this is the first tractor I've owned. Sorry for the bad pic's (cell phone :ashamed:) . I have an overgrown horse paddock to clear, mostly tall weeds and from what I'm reading on this forum I think purchasing a Ratchet Rake is in order. I also have a 2,600 ft. dirt, rock, gravel driveway and am figuring a box blade will do the trick.

Congratulations on your new tractor. You might want to consider a set of plates from Bro Tek in addition to tie rod protectors.

Congrat's as well, and I'll second the skid plate recommendation.

Congrats on your new Kubota! The day a new tractor arrives is always a memorable one. Especially if it's your 1st!

That 2nd pic with the sun rays is cool.
Have fun and stay safe!

Considering the skid plates; however the new models do have the gan guard on them and the local dealer stated that no-one locally with the guard as of yet has run into a problem. But if I do start doing a little woods clearing I supposed the sp's would be a go insurance policy.

Congrats on the new BX. For me the peace of mind alone was worth the cost of the skid plates after reading of it's hst fan vulnerability here on TBN. I'd decided to buy them even before I bought the tractor and after looking at the fan exposure and hearing of the cost and/or trouble to replace it it seemed a no brainer for me. That being said I'm always back in the woods with mine. So if you haven't yet, maybe just stick your head under there and envision whether your work will entail any risk to the fan.

Good luck and have fun what ever your choice. It's a great tractor for what it was built for.
