Kubota M 108X
I would like your help in finding addresses to contact Kubota Canada, any help will be appreciated. I have searched the net and see that these addresses are a well kept secret.

I have an unresolved problem with the rear tires on my new Kubota M108X. Some of you have been helpful in providing ideas on how to fix this matter but none have proven to work.

My dealer sent a mechanic to test drive my tractor and he admitted there was a problem but he could not fix it and also stated there were other Kubotas with more severe bumping of the rear wheels. He stated that smooth running wheels didn't seem to be a priority with Kubota. He even suggested I complain to Kubota, little did I know how hard that would be.

I promise to keep you posted on any information I get.

NOTE: If you only have addresses in the USA or Japan please let me have them.

Thanks
God bless All

Thank you for that post cause I to have to complain to them. For me it was a bad dealer signing me onto a tractor that didn't meet my needs (even though he said it would at time of purchase and now denies saying it) I'm stuck in a 5 year contract on a tractor that doesn't do everything I was told it would do. Do you know if they have an email address?

Report a complaint if you wish. Just use the information provided. E-mail is a lame way to deal with such things anyhow, imho.

Now, if you got a bad dealer (salesman), hey, it happens.
Choices include:
a) doing nothing other than whining to higher ups. Caveat Emptor
b) trade it in on something else that better meets your needs.
c) just sell the fool thing outright.

One is never "stuck" unless one chooses to be. Just my $.02

I wish you luck with this. I recently (last month) complained to Kubota....I'll skip the details, but it was a complaint against the company, not the dealer. The response I got simply referred me back to the dealer, with a promise they would work through him. My sense was that the company in no way wants to talk/help/advise their customers, leaving all such matters to the dealership. I don't want anyone to misconstrue this in some way. I'm not launching another complaint here, just stating the facts based on my experience. I, too, had trouble figuring out where to snail mail my letter (s). I wound up sending one to the regional HQ (Columbus, OH for me) as well as the US HQ in Torrence CA. I marked both with the address and added "Customer Service" to it.

Well the dealer won't let me trade it in cause he said my credit won't let me get a bigger priced tractor (even though he just said on the phone that if I spent $15,000 more I could have gotten the right tractor for all the things I needed it to do. I also can't sell it cause I'm stuck in this 5 year payment plan and from what I've been reading it's non transferrable.

Just wondering...What won't the tractor do that you expect it to do?

This might be a tough one...Not defending the dealer, but their idea of what is acceptable and yours could be miles apart..i know this one from experience.

Kind of hard to tell me to go back to the dealer when it's the dealer I have issues with and I can't move higher up in the dealership cause he's the top person there. But today I tried one more time to try and reason with him and he said. If I would have told him what I was needing the tractor for he would have set me up with a better one for the jobs. I'm like WTF I told you everything it has to do now and in the future. Mow 47 acres of rough mole hilled pasture, mow 5 acres of grass, push lots of snow, handle bales, have a cab, do daily maintenance on two arenas. I relied on his expertise to show me the right tractor for the job and the 2660 is what he showed me and said I can get a nice cab put on to keep me warm in the winter. I mean do you think if the dealer said here is a tractor but it won't do everything you asked I would have took it and gotten stuck in a 5 year contract with it, I was looking at the cabbed version of the 3030 cause that looked like it would have the power and comforts needed but he talked me out of it and into the 2660. And now you know....The rest of the story.

That's my venting for the day, lol.
I am really hoping to get this solved cause I hate getting sick while pushing snow due to the cold.

Mow 47 acres of rough mole hilled pasture
Mow 5 acres of grass
Push lots of snow in the winter
Handle bales
Have a cab
Take care of 2 arenas
Plus more in the future (like burying deceased horses.) and more

Sorry but I'd be looking larger yet then a 3030! The dealer you choose to make the move with just pays out the 2660 and you get a new tractor hopefully one to handle your duties!

I hope so cause if the 3030 is even too small then why would he even consider the 2660

How could anyone be under the delusion that a BX could do all this in any kind of timely manner, including yourself. It could mow the 5 acres and move some snow, and probably take care of the arenas. Handling bales and 47 acres of mole hilled pasture is obviously a job for a bigger machine. If the 5 acres of grass is lawn, I would have recommended a dedicated machine for that, plus something like a Grand L or bigger, for the other stuff. Burying a horse is a job for a backhoe, FEL's are not really intended to dig holes. I think you are going to have to take some responsibility for your purchase, and not blame it all on the dealer.

I am completely new at this and tractors and thought the dealer would know better. He said at the time of purchase that it would have handled it and that's why I bought into the contract. I didn't know about this forum and had no one to turn to for advise or help with making decisions.

Mowing 47 acres with a 2660...Good grief. Did you look at the machine prior to purchase?

Stables and arenas are probably in it's ball park...But that much land? That would be tough with a full size farm tractor.

I grew up and around the auto sales business... not exactly the same, but it is in many ways similar.

The number one goal of business is to stay in business profitably. Some are very good and others fail.

It was mentioned you lacked sufficient credit or bought at the limit of your credit... without knowing the particulars... no one forced you to sign on the dotted line.

I'm certain, the Dealership would have loved delivering a more costly unit... the margins are generally better... so much better that Dealers are often accused of Up-Selling or not willing to even provide lower cost options.

In my Tractor Search... I was told flat-out by several area Dealers they serve AG business and just didn't have the time to even talk with me during harvest time.

So... on the surface, it looks like you have the best new tractor you could afford.

I generally buy used... the problem is it takes more money to buy used than new in most cases due to financing only available on new units.

Kubota should and does get involved with warranty/safety issues... buyers remorse doesn't fall under either.

As a side thought... every tractor is a compromise for the most of us and many of us own more than one tractor because of this...

It would be better to sell and take a loss rather than get upset every time you start it up.

There is no substitute for due diligence other than blind luck.

Corey9212, The 2660 will actually do the things you mentioned, just not nearly as fast as a larger tractor. An L4400 may have been a better option that would not have cost alot more. Maybe you coiuld explore some options for stepping up into a 35-40 pto hp class of tractor with a different dealer.

Experience with one tractor is usually the best teacher about what we need to look for in the next tractor. Go ahead and put that little Kubota to work and push her for all she's worth. Working this one for all your tasks will help you to decide what you truly need when you do figure out how to move up to your next tractor.

I've been working for one of the biggest European automotive manufacturer and I know that each producer wants to sell as many machines as possible. I had similar case of dissatisfied customer. Finally we with the dealer sold another new and more powerful car to that client. A dealer also found another client to that a bit used car but still under leasing. All were finally satisfied.
I think Your case is a negotiation case with dealer/distributor.

MilkMan is right...We're not beating you up...Perhaps we're just taken aback a little by the expectations.

Given what you are doing, the 2660 would work great for the daily work...That 47 acres though is going to need something else. You could try a massive set of gang mowers, but that isn't the best solution either.

Sounds like you need two entirely different machines, and I think you have one of them now...Just adapt as best that you can and keep your chin up..We've all done something like this at some point.
