Hey Timber,

How long is your Tractor Docking Station (aka: Garage)... does the door close with the snow blade mounted?

I keep my tractor in one of the portable garage's that's 20' long and it just fits, but I have the rear blade at an angle..

That looks like ONE long Tractor Port.

Carry on

It's getting to be that time of year when we are thinking about dragging out the snow gear and tweaking for winters assault. So what do you use, how deep do you do you get.

I am in Eastern Massachusetts and we can get around 24" in a good storm but it is usually 8" at a time

i plowed my driveway for over 10 years on a jd770 with the bucket. i don't care how much you love your tractor - it's cold out there in january - especially if you have to plow in the middle of the storm. this one is much warmer :D

Don't need a picture of mine because it is just like this except it is a green Ram 3500. I run chains on the dual rears. I dont worry much about a place to push the snow. I throw it 25 feet over a 3 foot high bank. In eleven years of plowing my mile long road I only had to push the banks back once with my tractor. That year was a record snowfall. Somewhere around 140" I think.

I'm not sure but the wine tasting and the company of my buddies was the best part of the snow.

2001 JD X595 w/54" JD plow
2005 GMC 2500 w/Fisher 7 1/2 Minute Mount plow.

I use the X595 most of the time, as I enjoy plowing with it and listening to the radio.

I will try to use the loaded ags and backhoe for traction with this set up but I might get chains just to have them in case I get caught with the turfs on. The ATV does well but I figured I have a tractor o might as well get a blade. The B is new so we re guaranteed not to have any snow in the DC area for years.
The BX is my old tractor and it did great with chains and a $300 TSC rear blade.

Fellas, I just started with what was pretty basic back in the mid 1900's. To get modernized guess I should have started with silk!
