The 2x2 Rcvr has to be the best idea I have seen in a long time, I like it.
As you have already setup a hook there is no limit to the tools that can be used with this setup. I was thinking a Vice in the field, mounted to a 2x2 Pipe will work wonders when needed.

The original cost of a mill or lathe doesn't count. It will still cost more to tool it up than what u paid for it. I have a lot more in tooling than in my machines.

Thanks for the picture of how you clamped the tubing down. I have thos but was not sure how they were used.
