A few things to look at before you buy. Push the clutch pedal till it bottoms out and engage the p.t.o. lever. If it grinds, a release finger bolt may have lossened and the tractor will have to be split. I had one do it. Another problem that seemed to be more common was the p.t.o. coupling under the 3 pt cover would move the snap ring out of it's groove. Not much to fix , but could be a pain. P.t.o. will not stay engaged if this problem occurs. Had 3 do this . Not to alarm you, but just a couple things to be buyer wise, Good Luck. Trac

Oky-doky, I'll check it out. I'm getting it with a brush hog already attached so I'll really be able to try it.
I had to split a 1965 Ford 5000 Super Major diesel three days after I bought it because the clutch went out. If that wasn't bad enough, it had a backhoe and loader on it that I had to take off first. That was after I pushed it onto the trailer with the hoe because it wouldn't move... Man, that sucked a big one! Bad memories...
