if i got caught spending $21 on a fuel can i'd be sleeping with the tractors and the atv's in the barn. but that does look like it would work better than what i've got now.

I hear you, I had to think about it awhile before I coughed up the money too:laughing: Paying over $20 for a gas can does leave you feeling violated.![]()
I have 4 of the no spill containers. One is yellow for diesel. I wish they had blue for kerosene, they work great for filling my kerosene heater in the shop. -Keith
I heard that::thumbsup:Recently I'v begun buying off-road diesel ( much less expensive) and putting it in a 55 gallon barrel.. equipped this with a 12-volt pump and can fill my fuel tank in less than 2 minutes.... *I never knew life could be so good. lol
These don't work well when trying to pour into a funnel .I may just go back to storing gas in the old plastic milk jugs. It would be better than new cans out now.
A few years ago I bought a new metal 'jerry can' at Northern Tool and it had the good nozzle which pushes back and lets fuel flow until you release pressure on the can/pull it out of the tank.
Really messed up when I didn't buy a handful of the replacements they had there for sale at the time.![]()

**************************1*Do you take the barrel to the station to fill it?
2*I guess you could keep the barrel on a pallet & fork lift it on & off the bed of a truck?
to a station and got 33 gallon of red off road fuel for 2.50 per gallon.
*****************3*Yeah they do. You just take the spout off and pour out of the opening.![]()
****************4*... I got a blue plastic barrel off Craig's list for $20 American... Plumbed the bung with a 3/4" nipple and used pvc for a tail pipe... the 3/4-inch nipple threads into the 12-volt pump... The pump was given to me by a friend (I've got some nice friends.
5*I transport the barrel to a dealer that sells off-road diesel and use the front loader on my tractor to lift it off the truck for storage....
6*Best thing I ever did for myself.
************7*Was at an auction this week, and ended up with 2x52gal fuel transfer tanks for $90 total.
8*I only have one pump, so may just plug the pump hole on one and swap the pump back and forth as needed,
9*but I figure I'm set.
give one of these a shot you won't be disappointed.
Thanks for the info. I'm getting tired of gas spilling all over my mowers using a funnel. Going to try one of these and see what happens.
When you give one a try, stick the nozzle right in the tank. You don't want to watch it for when it's full, that's when the leaks start if you stick the nozzle in the tank it can't over fill, it shuts off the air vent and it doesn't flow anymore.
