JT...would you take pictures of the job your RD does on the long grass? I am trying to decide about a RD myself but I need more info on how they do in longer grass. I have only had the SD decks.:D
Mowed a few minutes until it started raining. Grass was also wet and very high. Don't under stand the issues with a RD deck. This is my 3rd and love it. The SD lays a piled up row down the side as often or seldom that I mow and the RD lays it down spread out over the cut area. I am on a hillside and ground fairly unlevel so wheels follow dips and some spots a bit higher but on flat ground it lays it down flat and an even cut. Will never go back to SD if I have a choice. I also love the visible and up against it cut on either side and no concern of where I'm blowing grass.
I don't cut my grass down to the dirt, I like it a few inches tall even after it's cut. That may make a difference between SD and RD but I don't know how.

Nice looking ride! Congrats hope the seat was worth the wait
It is. It has some spring to the seat, adjustable by riders weight, tilt steering wheel, seat back adjusts, I think there is a back bolster adj, arms also adj individually if you lean more to one side or the other or are lop sided but it's the same as the seat on my F2680E.

Well, I know what at a pain it is to break these things, so I'm offering to break it in for you. 100 hours and it will be already for you. I'll give you directions to my house, and as much work as it is to break them in, I still won't charge you anything.:D

Nice looking mower to say the least. I've never driven one, but always thought of them as being the top of the line mower, bar none.

That's mighty knid of you. Did you plan on doing the 50 hour service while you had it? Just filters, oil, clean screen and replace what fluid leaks out from filter and screen removal/replacement.
These directions indicate you want me to deliver it?
To me they are the top of the line mower and I've tried a few different ones.
I'll get back to you on your offer later.:)

......from Barlows and sent them countless deals through this site (may 100+?) so any deal he gets has to be taken with a grain of salt.

And those are just the one's John has traded in. :D I am on Barlow's site in another tab right now looking for the one John traded in because it is probably better than new....as in "good as new" but "pretested."

JT thanks for the pics. I have an idea of the job the RD does. Looks great, also a nice machine.:drool:

Sweet! That is a good looking machine that will make mowing go a little faster. I too like the rear discharge better than the side discharge. The only thing wrong with that machine is that it is not mine! Enjoy that fine piece of equipment.

Is this the end of pictures from Barlows? :)

I wish I could find a way to mount that deck on the 3ph of my BX flip the seat and steering 180 degrees, and then drive backwards.

Having two BXs (much less three) never made much sense to me, but having an F series for the grass and a B series for other tractor work is something I definitely would do if I could afford it (drool, drool). Congrats John; that's a great combo you have!!

Hey John
Take extra care of this one cause I may have to talk to Brady when you trade up, across or down. I think that machine could find a home in my tractor stable. Make sure they use the SUDT if they change the hydro fluid. :D:D I know John its a tough job but someone has to do it so it might as well be you right. Oh might I add that is one nice looking machine,Congratulations.
