Honda Tiller FRC800 used for $950???

I found a Honda Tiller FRC800 used for $950.00. He said it is only a couple years old but that he is the second owner. From the pics it looks like it is in good shape. Does this seem like a good price for a machine with a claimed couple hundred hours on it? Or would a new Troy bilt pony seem like a better way to go? (similar price range)
I plan on slowly (over the next year or 2) tilling about 2 acres.

Honda makes a good tiller.

We have a 501 front tine. Its been bulletproof.

If its in good condition its not a bad price. Not a steal, but not bad. Id try 750 and maybe meet in the middle?

remember the tiller your after is a bigger unit, that costs about 1k more when new than th one i posted.

Honda makes some of the best tillers out there, Better than the current crop of troybuilt (since MTD bought them). Even at 950 id consider it for a mint condition one.

Just looked them up here. They are selling for 2059.00 for a new one here.

So about 1100.00 off the price of a new one

Ok. I went to see it. It was really nice and well taken care of. The guy was really nice too. I bought it and am very happy so far.
