I never had so much fun cleaning snow out!

I get done cleaning and have not broken a drop of sweat and it took half the time. What a machine, very impressed. Best of all, clearing end of driveway is a breeze.

This was a good investment. :)

I still use the snow blower for the side walks but sitting and pushing levers around is much more fun. :)

I have a very steep driveway and it just goes down it and back up with no issues at all. I first tried it with 2 wheel drive and it did fine but did spin a bit, then put in 4wd and simply there is no stopping it. This last snow, I pushed the snow down the driveway about 200 feet (10" of snow) and it handled it with no issues. I have the bar tires on and no chains or fluid in the tires and it is simply unaffected by the snow under it.

I'm surprised you haven't dropped the mower off for the winter plowing season.

I thought about it but it is not in the way and I think it gives addtional weight and balance to the tractor.

Even if this is the case, which I doubt, you're not doing the mower deck any favors.

Just think of it as a Mid Mount Blower :) I'd have the mower running while I was clearing... any snow the bucket missed the mower would suck up and spit out the side ;)

Well, I keep thinking it is lowering the center of gravity with the 200lbs or so hanging so low. The snow is only getting on the sides as I push and use my rear blade to scrape behind.

Wouldn't you you think the deck is providing something similar to tires being loaded?

Just think of it as a Mid Mount Blower :) I'd have the mower running while I was clearing... any snow the bucket missed the mower would suck up and spit out the side ;)

Hi mow4fun:

I to left my deck on the first year then midway thru next enough snow go under it and disconnected lift pins. Was 1/2 mile from home what a PITA to get it back on. Now comes off veterans day if not B4.

Yes, I agree, 150%. I am glad that I have a rear blower, as the FEL is THE tool for clearing 2-3 feet of heavy plow-packed snice (snow & ice mix) from the end of the drive.

Since you are having so much fun I will send you my snow to play with. We got 40+" last week and I am ready for spring. I much perfer mowing and dragging my fields to pushing around the white stuff.

I am tired of the snow too and not looking for more, but if I have to do then it can't get any better than this. :)

Spring is around the corner, we just have to get through March, I can't wait to cut some grass. :)
