I could show you some pics but they wouldn't be very impressive.

Here in southern New England, we got about 2 inches yesterday after the weathermen said this was finally gonna be our make up storm of up to 18 inches. The schools announced closings the day before and even the state workers got time off.

People are fuming around hear, angry at the weather people when they realized this was just another wimp flurry "storm"

JB.

Can't help with any pics of this season's snowfall yet but according to our local paper yesterday if Washington, D.C. got the 7-17" of snow predicted by today they will be closing in on Rochester and Buffalo total for the season so far of about 63". So far this season the Syracuse snowfall total as of today is 75.9". The Syracuse annual average is 120" but hit over 190" back in the winter of 92-93.
Maybe the earth is shifting on its axis resulting in the snow moving south. Maybe in a few years Syracuse will have weather like Florida.

Keep Dreaming George! This year our snow is really nothing here in NH. Now they are saying the best snow is Man-Made Snow. Now doesn't that fry ya? We have had about 53 inches or so around us, but no snow to speak of for the month of February and nothing in site for the next week.

Puts a damper on cross country skiing and snowmobile riding.

The good thing about all this is they have closed down the government for a few days. Wow several days without finding a new way to stick it to the taxpayer.

groundcover - Thanks for the compliments about the pictures. We are from southern York county. I know the state truck drivers are tired. I actually came up behind one yesterday and had to get out of the truck since he was not moving. When I got to the window, I thought maybe the guy died but when I pounded on the window, he was just sleeping! I ask if he could just move to the side so I could get around and he could go back to sleep!

Nice pics of snow, farm, animals.
We live in central Pa., Mifflintown-Lewistown area and got lucky as far as snowfall amounts. The weekend storm only brought about 14-15 inches and the last storm we had 7 inches. Blowing and drifting snow shut down schools for two days but overall the roads weren't to bad.

Great pics, I really enjoyed them.

Steve

I'll assume your title has something to do with this breed.

Thought it was spring yesterday - +8c. That was yesterday...

This is what we woke up to this morning! Average around 11". First couple of inches heavy wet snow. Broke a shear-bolt within 5 minutes of starting out... not a good way to start the day. 4.5 hours of blowing. I do my lane plus 3 other neighbours... just for the fun of it!

Same up here, Lloyd! It has stopped snowing but is still really windy. Got my driveway and parking area cleared but can't go anywhere as our back road hasn't been plowed at all yet. No tire tracks down the road either, so nobody has even tried to get out.

I'm under the impression there is more coming so I'll just wait.

She who must be obeyed has me putting tiles on the kitchen counter top anyway. :( Been working on that project for a few days now.

Looks alike another 4cm - not much - but Thursday looks messy.

Today: Periods of snow and local blowing snow. Amount 2 cm. Wind northwest 30 km/h gusting to 50. High plus 1.

Tonight: Periods of snow. Amount 2 to 4 cm. Wind west 20 km/h. Low minus 2.

Thursday: A few flurries changing to a few rain showers in the afternoon. Wind southwest 20 km/h. High plus 2.
