i have a dk55c and have nothing but trouble the head gasket went 3 oil lines went front hub with gear assembly went 2 times the clutch is noisey and the power steering pump makes a lot of noise the low pressure fuel pump went and now the high pressure fuel pump is gone and kioti wont go good for it my dealer says when they call tec support some times it takes them 3 days to get a response i got the tractor at kens tractor in nh they are good but with the company not staying behind them it dosent work to good i recomend stay away from kioti any questions call me at 518-572-8111 the tractor is a 2007 i have a landscaping and snow removal company in the winter it loads about 200 yards of sand salt mix in the summer it does light landscaping and gravedigging the dealer has been very good about it its kioti that wont stand behind them

Just curious as to the year model, number of hours, length of time you've owned it and what is it's primary use. Knowing this would help us to better understand if we should be concerned with our equipment and whether Kioti would back us if our tractors fell apart.

It's a tractor. It's not suppose to break like this. I've been digging into hard pan rocky shale with my New Holland TC48DA. With Markham toothbar, New Holland bucket, it is really built well. I've been completely abusive to it. Never let up, and have had remorse about treating it this way. IT HAS NEVER BROKEN! OR GIVEN ME A MOMENTS TROUBLE. I have whammed it. Bammed it, Slammed it, and it still keeps comming back for more. I used a grapple to pickup many rocks, which it barely lifted. Some extremely off set onto the outer edge of the grapple. Loaded tires, 1500# rear ballast. I though I was going to lose the whole sheebang a few times transporting the rocks, and positioning them. I felt afterwards that I shouldn't have done that. I might have tweeked something. NOTHING! The NEW HOLLAND TC48DA 4WD, LA18 LOADER, QA, is still like new. It purrs while running. My neighbor has a TC35A. We both went after a very large stump one day at his place. I wish it were filmed for a NEW HOLLAND commercial. It was a tour du force of how hard can we run these NEW HOLLAND tractors. My neighbor is an absolute wild man, and would win any bucking bronco tractor event he enters. We were insane as to how hard we treated those NEW HOLLAND tractors that day. I almost bought a Kioti DK45S. I didn't like the loader. This poor feller has a lemon, Kioti should help him out. I can hold my own when it comes to abusing equipment. Kioti has had some debacles.....loader cracking, DK55 front knuckles breaking off the same machine several times, bucket roll back not adaquate. If they want to earn a good reputation for durability, then they better start by stepping up to the plate and helping 10bear10 out with this lemon. You buy new equipment so you can work it, not work on it. I'd like to know all that personal tractor info too. Kioti toots itself off as to being able to run with the big boys. Do it all. Just like the big three. Well, here's you chance Kioti. Man up! Help this guy out. Jeeze....have you been wipeing it's little nose. Is the barn heated for it. Sorry the front end broke off, maybe you were a little hard on it. Kioti should even swap this machine out for 10bears, and put in writeing that the new one is warrentied for 5 years. Bucket edge to 3 PT arm swivel eye. And they want people to buy their machines after hearing these stories. Give me a break. Glad I bought NEW HOLLAND TC48 with JAPANESE STEEL! Well, I to would like to hear a bit more,since I have a CK 25,which we use in our landscaping business,it has over 500 hours on it in 18 months,has had 3 operators on it,built rock retaining walls,dug ditches,mowed rock piles with the bush hog,and chipped wood ,once for 12 hours straight,leveled countless loads of loam and rough fill.
We have not had any problem what so ever,and we are more than satisfied,both with the tractor and our dealer. At present we are thinking of adding another Kioti to the mix,probably a DK 45...Just my 2 cents.

The amount of repairs noted is not normal for any tractor, regardless of brand. Lets not jump to conclusions in the absence of facts. Touting how one has excessively abused another brand of tractor is irrelevant to this tractor's problems.

We're all here to help each other but posting one's phone number is not the best way to try to solve a problem. Slamming Kioti because of one's personal issues with a specific tractor of any brand is counterproductive.
Let us review the facts of what went wrong under what conditions, etc. and then one is better able to form opinions that will be useful. Otherwise we're accomplishing nothing, and benefiting no one.
I'd like to hear your story in detail so we can pool our resources to help you with your problematic tractor.

My 4 year old, 350 hour CK30hst has for the most part been trouble free. Only the oil cooler had to be replaced. I've worked this, what I call a little tractor, pretty hard at times. Not like Oldtrout has with his CK25 but I definately put mine through its paces at times for its size.
I, like Coyote machine and Oldtrout, would like to know more. Unfortunately there are lemons with anything and this may be one. It would be hard to believe that every DK55c are exploding when used for the jobs it was designed for.

Steve0413 has the right idea, let's get some more info. I think most manufactures have problems form time to time, no matter the make. My Ford Explorer that I bought new has had a new engine, rebuilt trans, 3 new radiators, 3 new front hubs, new air conditioning (needs replacing again) etc. yet most Fords, like other makes of cars are trouble or mostly trouble free. I bought my new CK35 HST from Superior Tractor in Oregon and had it shipped to me on Vancouver Island, British Columbia Canada. I have had two problems with it. One the Woods backhoe had a c clip come out and the cylinder popped out. Tony from Superior Tractor had it fixed in 6 days. Had the part shipped and a local tractor mechanic put it in. Had two o-ring replaced on the tractor, again was done promptly.
Have 177 hours on it now. I use my vehicle and tractor not abuse them yet things happen. Its being looked after that is important. So lets get more info.

Mousefield,are you sure you haven't got my 1999 Exploder,oops Explorer, I finally gave up on mine and parked it,it will be going to the scrap yard in the spring,less than 200,000 KM. My little ford ranger has well over 300,000 km and still going strong.
I still like the fords and looking to pick up a F250 or F350 in the near future; but wouldn't take an Exploder for a gift.

i have a 2007 kioti dk55 and a 551 loader with 245 hours on it. never had any problems at all. i've brushhogged, cleaned out ponds, pulled logs that a john deere 2010 could'nt, built roads, all will not a whimper from the kioti. i recomend that model to anybody looking for a dependable tractor. i bought mine to clean up an old farm, lots of bush hogging, digging, loader work and no real complaints other that it could use a better seat, gets hard after a couple of hours but other than that no problems. its a very nice machine. i no longer need mine and its for sale, but if i ever need another tractor i'll get a kioti. so just because one guy has a problem with one kioti then it don't mean all are bad, besides its still under warrantee, 4 year warrantee on that tractor as well as all kiotis.

I have seen it all I had a Long that I bought used with 4000hrs I ran it for 13 years did reg .maint put in starter brushes, new tires new tack,and a few other small items.I am not easy on tractors in fact at times you could have turned me in for abusing it ,I also had a garage and worked on other peoples tractors,one came in that was 5 years newer than mine and it was beat,they tore out the front ring and pinion and replaced it themselves then the brought it in because it was making noises,when I loosen it up it snapped out the never set it, the next time they ordered a hyd pump from me after the ran it out of oil, then they drove the tractor over a rock and pushed the oil pan plate into the oil pickup an starved the oil in the engine but what the heck they had no way of knowing this because all the gauges were broken
Or how about a nice 656 Int.that was a extremely nice tractor with low hours and well taken care was bought by one of my customers that was in the cord wood business and was to be used on a cord wood processor,after a while of owning it the asked me to look at it the 3PT was not working I told them to bring it over they never did the I saw him and told me the loader was not working again i told them to bring it over.Fast forward tractor would not steer then it would not drive then finely after 1 year PTO won't work, now the cord wood processor has no power to run and they drop it off in the yard.
I go to bring it in the shop and it won't move so I pick up the rear and get it in the shop try to drain trans. oil there is ice I remove the PTO assembly and found trans.housing filled up and a solid block of ice,3 days with a heater to melt ice 2 cracked pumps, MPCV valves destroyed by ice.
I could write a book on what I have seen and its all across the board not one specific MFG.so don't knock a tractor unless you have walked in it's shoes(or tires).
There are people out there that could break an anvil.

Some folks just don't get it. I've seen a friend run his chainsaw into the dirt/gravel and complain about how cheap the chains are because they won't stay sharpened. Or buy ATV's, put lift kits on them, totally abuse them and then wonder why axles break. Until we know more specifics about how this fellow used, maintained, etc. his DK55c, then it's impossible for anyone to feel sorry for him. There are ALWAYS two sides to every story and we aren't even getting all of one side in this case.

Kioti makes a good tractor, just like the JD's, IH's, Cases, and Mahindra's that I've used. None are perfect, but all are very good if used for the purpose they were intended.

He's the one who made his statement about his tractor being a piece of junk - so where is the data to back up the complaint?
A guy posts one post and we're jumping all over each other when most of us already know Kioti is an excellent brand, as are many other tractor brands.
Lets hear some evidence or kick this post to the curb.
I've got better things to do with my time on this site.

What my NEW HOLLAND does best is NOT BREAK when I need it. Like your Kioti. Is the rock OK? I hope Kioti Corporation contacts 10bears. I'm sure they have his number, or read these tractor forums. He has a LEMON. All brands have them.

And you seem so intent on saying how your NH never breaks? OK, good for you and your machine. What possible good is your rant against Kioti doing for 10bear10? Isn't that what this post/thread is about, not how great and unbreakable your NH tractor is?

I like to read the different posts as typical someone has a problem and others try to help or just general information. What have you provided that is positive or constructive?

Nothing is being gained,we need more information from the original poster. Untill than all I can say is that I am satisfied with my Kioti,good service and no problems.

I believe the tractor mntioned has about 2000 hours. If it is the same one I saw the overall condition is it looked pretty clean.
Ken's tractor is the dealer that really step up to the plate for me when my Kioti had several issues. Other Kioti dealers that post here said things like "if it was in my shop, it would be warranty work" then scurried away, another dealer fixed one problem and stated the tractor was abused, (150 hours). Finally, when the dust settled it was discovered that the original owner had the original dealer try to fix the problem 3 times with no results. I found the service bulletin and things began to change. With the help of Ken's Tractor and other dealers I contacted Kioti took ownership of the two issues and made me happy.

Let the dust settle and see what the underlying condition is.
