Dang AKKAMAAN, where the heck do you get all these neat drawings? Old ornery people might not like this new stuff, but that illustrates it better then I can say it!
If have the experience I like to make'm....check my library....no secrets....just some cunfusing file names.....hahaha
hav fun
Okay, I was just checking out your library. I didn't think the "18 wheel dump truck" would be anything like what it was. That is crazy!!!
I would bet that the end of the cyl has 2 holes for a spanner wrench. Just turn the end cap and the wire will spin out. That is the way you have to take the cyl's apart on my Terramite
Does the driver stay in the truck? What a ride!
I bookmarked your site AK, I hope you don't mind it I link to it? Some of those pictures sure save a lot of typing (pecking in my case!)
Lay the cyl on your shop table, fixture the capped side clevis in a vise, turn the nut with a pipe wrench or a chain wrench, usually the nut turns real easy....I would bet that the end of the cyl has 2 holes for a spanner wrench. Just turn the end cap and the wire will spin out. That is the way you have to take the cyl's apart on my Terramite
Thanks guys. The only problem is there is nothing for me to grab onto to spin the cap. No holes for a spanner wrench and no flats to grab with a wrench.
