seeking aftermarket doors for bobcat toolcat

Hi,

I just bought a used bobcat toolcat 5600, its a 2005 but only has 185 hours on it and it didnt come with doors.

I called bobcat and they want 3600 for a pair of them which is nuts in my opinion so I was hoping someone would know an aftermarket equivalent. I plan on using this for snow removal and should have researched the doors before purchase but lesson learned I guess.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Holy s__t! I bought an 07 demo and complained about the driver's door not sealing. They gave me a new door under warranty. Didn't realize they were worth that much.

You can buy a lot of plywood and plexiglass for $3600.

you are most likely not going to find aftermarket doors for the toolcat. there just arent enough of them out there, and way more are sold w/doors than w/out.

Not sure what they look like or how big they are but I know my local machine/welding shop could build a pair for a 40ish HP cab tractor or average sized bobcat for about $500. Worth a try. Just make some cardboard templets and have them fab them up. Usually cheaper if you run down all the parts first and deliver everything to them.

I also own a Toolcat with no doors and have recently let my father use it on his farm for snow removal. Although he's a hardy fellow in his 80s, he has noticed it to be a bit breezy and expressed some interest in doors. Do you still have the pair in MIchigan and are they still for sale. What year and model did they come from?
