Anyone know where to get them? Tractor supply seems to only have 1/2". I cant seem to find any at surpluscenter.
I bought mine from my JD dealer for about $2 each (did have to order them) and available in 4 colors.
You wouldnt happen to have a part number? I tried searching JDparts but nothing was listed by size. The 410 loader lists 9/16" hydraulic lines. I could go to the dealer, but it might not turn out good for one of us.
Not JD, but this help?
One (M or F) shows 1/8 but no 1/4, I'm guessing it's supposed to be 1/4)
Discount Hydraulic Hose.com
The hoses have nothing to do with it...The QD's are 1/4" Do you want the ones for the male or female QD's?
These are the ones I bought:
Caps(covers the male nipple)
M132021 Yellow
M132022 Silver
M132024 Green
M70728 Black
Plugs(goes in female QD)
M85099 Black
M132031 Yellow
M132032 Silver
M132034 Green
kennyd, are all of these for the same size quick connects?
JDParts is frustrating to say the least in that they do not give the size as best as I and the Deere home and garden dealer down the street. I went in there telling him I needed 4 male 1/2" covers, 2 female 1/2" plugs, and 2 plugs and 2 covers in 3/8". He said their parts function is no more user friendly than what I can get online as they do not see the sizes. The main reason I am seeking to get them from JD is $$, they show about $2.50 each on the ones I did find, whereas another source I have looked at online has a noticeably higher price tag, especially the 3/8", I mean $6.85 for an ag style 3/8" plug and $6.10 for the cover. I especially don't understand why the ag plugs and caps are so expensive when the caps for the 600 series connectors are just over a buck each. Go figure.
I have a 5300 which has all 1/2" and I am going to use the 3/8" for the grapple quick connect at the torque tube. For the time being I will use the 3rd SCV for the grapple and the drag disc cylinder and just swap out as needed. Want the caps to keep the ends and all reasonably clean.
OK, look up a 3520 tractor for the plugs, and a 300cx loader for the caps-they have 3/8" couplers.
-BUT- Your grapple really only needs 1/4" lines and QD's going to it. They will give you finer control and the small grapple cylinder will not demand much flow.
