For those of you who have down payments on a CT230 or recently received yours, what kind of wait time was your dealing telling you? I was told "2-4 weeks, but probably closer to 4". I've also read some of you on here saying as much as 60 days. Just curious on what I should be expecting.

Bad news:

I ordered mine before 4th of July, and last week my dealer told me that my tractor will not be BUILT until the second week of september. We assume that to mean in Korea, so tack on another month for shipping to USA distributor. Ouch.

In my case...Order placed on Jun 26th. As of today the dealer estimated the delivery time to still be another 30-60 days! It seems that Bobcat sort of got caught with their pants down on the cash rebates (IE the pent up demand was way more than they expected).

The dealer has offered me a loaner machine to get some work done in the interim (he did not say what). If we are looking at Oct delivery then I might have to take him up on his offer. He did mention that he received a new CT245 today....Hmm.. Maybe we can work something out...

I ordered my CT230 on July 15th and was told 3-8 weeks for the tractor and 12 weeks for the loader. Another deal fell through at the dealership so I got moved up the list...took delivery Aug. 4th. I'm still waiting on the loader and I hope it doesn't go 12 weeks.

I ordered mine July 31st and was told 6-8 weeks. That was based on the one he JUST got in that took 7 weeks.

Thanks for all the replys. My dealer hit me for my deposit July 30th so, it looks like it will most likely be Sept before I am driving a bobcat around the yard.

Put money down July 8th and nothing yet on the tractor (CT230 with turf tires and loader). The loader already showed up at the dealer fortunately so hopefully the tractor isn't far behind. It sure is hard to wait isn't it?

I had a couple cash jobs go by while I was waiting on mine to come in, so I know exactly what you mean.

Ordered my ct 230 from oklahoma dealer July 8th. Initially told 5 or 6 weeks but today was told that the distributor won't give any type of estimate for delivery date. Was told that when the order is placed the only information they can get from distributor is 1. ORDERED 2. BUILT or 3. SHIPPED.....my status is still "ordered"...so it may be a while...

I managed to get very lucky on a deal with the bobcat dealer in Conroe, Texas. Outdoor Equipment Outlet. He had set up a dealer transfer of 4 CT230s and one of his customers backed out. I picked up the order and had my CT230 in my driveway not even a week later.

While Travis at Outdoor Equipment Outlet was a great guy and a pleasure to deal with my point is this: There are machines sitting on dealer lots right now, probably not many but if I got one in a week I have to imagine there are others out there. Travis told me that some dealers, including the one he got the transfers from, ordered a bunch of CT230s to put on their lot thinking the rebate would last until September 31st(the origional end date).

You guys have way more patience then I do. I can recall when I bought my tractor in April 2003. I wanted it NOW. Fortunatly my NH dealer had probably a dozen TC35D's on the lot to pick from. I did my test drives with the various transmissions and quickly settled on a hydro. I told my salesman, I will take THAT one ! We configured the options I wanted, came to terms on a price and it was delivered a week later.
Now Please don't anybody take offense to this, But even as much as I think the new Bobcat tractors are nice, I know my personality better and there is No Way could I or would I, wait up to 2 month's for one. I would be off to another dealer of "whatever" color who could stock what he sells and deliver it.
Now, to be fair and realistic. I wouldn't be urprised that given the currant economy, most dealers aren't wanting to keep anymore high $$$ inventory then absolutly necessry.

I gotta agree with you...when I pulled the trigger on my 3520 Cab machine it was ON the lot, but I had to wait for a few things like the Skid Steer QA and Wheel Weights to show up...longest 2 weeks of my life...BUT at the price Bobcat is (or should i say WAS) getting for a CT230/Loader/Delivered, I think I could have spent the wait time shopping for implements...

I ordered my CT230 on June 23rd, salesmen said they had on coming that was mine...2 weeks. Then after 3 weeks he said I was too late for that deal and now I have to wait until early august, THEN he said 60 days from my order date which was July 1...wrong it was June 23. So he think soon now..

However, I'm picking up a CT225 tonight and keeping it until my 230 arrives, its rental fleet and he gave me the choice of it of a T140 track loader. I wanted the loader but I need to put a pad in at my cabin and towing 6600 lbs 5 hours was more than I really cared to do.. plus the ct 225 is basiclly the same machine I bought so I can beat it on the crap jobs around the house.

Poor experience but I looked a orange and green machines but they are about $5k more and almost 1000lbs lighter. I just like the bobcats and the extra money.

God save the loaner I'm getting..

Will let you know when it gets here.

To provide an update to those of you who are waiting, I emailed my dealer this week asking for an update and he claimed that We should be good to go for delivery next week. Quote was signed 7/27, CC was hit for the down payment 7/30. Compared to what some of you have posted, it almost seems too good to be true..

Either way, I am excited! :D

Called my dealer yesterday to ask about ETA on my CT230 which I ordered and put down my 10% deposit on 7/1. Dealer said they will be getting 5 of them some time next week, coming from some where in the mid west. They already got the FELs. Dealer initially told me it would be about 6 to 8 weeks, so he was pretty accurate about the ETA.
