FarmTrac Troubles

   / FarmTrac Troubles #1,851
My local Farmtrac dealer had 13 tractors 2 weeks ago, is down to 8 now. The LS built tractors on the lot seem to be holding up (paint, seats, hoses, etc.) much better than the Escorts machines. All have been on the lot since mid to late 2007.

Hey Red can you translate that sekrit code for us laymen? :D

what in lawyer English????----all the dealers involved in the lawsuit--s-s can't comment on anything going on and all the dealers that have settled had to sign confidentiality agreements----those with the gold control free speech in the USA----some of the dealers seem to have short memories and are jumping right back in bed (steak sauce)with other finance companies that have worst contracts than Textron had when Farm Trac ran their scam with Textrons help-----when you use lawyer english you tend to make people mad because you are exposing them for what they really are ----GREEDY!!!!----COOKE AT TWO RIVERS TRACTOR IS/WAS (has he settled yet) PACKING THE LOAD FOR ALOT OF DEALERS THAT WANTED TO COMPLAIN ON ONE HAND BUT PLAY FOOTSIES WITH TEXTRON ET AL AND NOT DRAW ATTENTION TO THEMSELVES----HAVE THEIR CAKE AND EAT IT TOO(steak)!!!!-----one day the whole truth will come out but not in the short term------just more lying going on!----look what has happened in the coke/Pepsi business model---only a few independent bottlers left in the business----same thing in many other consumer products industries----BUT A TRACTOR HAS A LONGER SHELF LIFE THAN A LOAF OF BREAD-----We hope the tractor will last for twenty to thirty years without someelse having to work on it-----the only way that happens is if you leave it in the shed, wax it every two weeks and never use it outside----Only those red/green/orange/blue/yellow/pink/purple tractor mfg's have figured out how to sell tractors without no parts support and no tech's that have the ability to repair them at a REASONABLE PRICE-looking at buying a herd of goats to cut my grass but I can't find the switch to turn them off when they get all the grass cut----they still want to eat---!!!! Problems Problems!:)

I wonder if LS is going to still insist that dealers accept GE floor planning, even after the SEC slapped GE with a 50mil fine for fraud. if you lie with dogs , you'll wind up with fleas.better smarten up LS!

nope ----bet they will take cash (China currency only) money for 10 tractors purchased at one time!!!------
Fraud????-----didn't the government give GE 139 Billion dollars so that they can pay the 50 million dollar fine????------
They are still in business and we are ----
where is our bailout------
just a level playing field would be a big improvement!!!!
they sell flea powder and collars at the local feed store------
it is the business model that they really want to change--look what JD and a few other long lines are doing to their small dealers---just like the small car dealers---they are taking those small profitable customer driven dealers out of business so that down the line they can convert all the dealerships to megadealers----just like coke and pepsi has done with their independent bottlers----
you can buy all the tractors and equipment you want for cash money---but if you had that much cash money why would you want to be in the tractor business---Boats are more fun!!!!-----same game different names------floor plan it sell it before it comes due---order more-- sell/give it away--- before it comes due and repeat the cycle every year---I now understand why I like the used tractor auction scene compared to those cooperate meetings:D
I do miss the trips and cruises that the dealers get when they give away enough tractors and equipment---I wonder how much those trips really cost in lost profits and fun!!!!----
been to North Korea lately?????---they are not but a few miles north of the tractor factories in South Korea!!!!------
bet my old buddy from HOPE has the answer!!!!!!
