Those tracks are too cool JJ. I'd hate to see what they cost; but they remind me of a Tucker Sno-Cat in design.
With all the rain fallen in the northeast for last month one might consider setup.
I have a friend that put the tracks on an ATV.
There is chemical pipeline close to my home and the hill is very steep... A ATV without the tracks can't go up it, because you would flip backwards.
He is the only one that has went up the pipeline on an ATV..... We ride back to the pipeline to watch the dozers & excavators work on the very steep hill all the time.
Even if I had the tracks on my ATV I would not go up that hill.![]()
Or you could just buy one with the tracks already installed.
What an awesome show of horsepower!
Tons of guys up here have the matt-track equipped quads to make it legal to ride on the sled trails. There's also a large number of them installed on mintrucks. Dunno how they steer, but I've never heard a gripe. I'd guess "not bad" as long as you were moving?
