Hey guys I am looking at the Kubota 2920 and really like the tractor. Dealer quoted me a price of $15,700 + tax. For the tractor and the FEl. Is this a good price? Help me out. All the 2920 owners chime in and let me know how this tractor compares to a John Deere 2520. Thanks guys and I look forard to your replies.

One big difference is a 2-range vs. a 3-range transmission.

I paid around $17,200 +tax for my 2920 with FEL, toothbar, ballast box, 40amp alt, and block heater. I got free delivery (100) miles. The economy was better then
I'm not sure of the differences between the Kubota and JD. My neighbor has a JD2320, and it is awful loud. Both are really nice tractors.

I would call that a fantastic deal considering he is in upstate NY!
I'm not sure where your located at, but Lawsons Kubota in Rosehill Vireginia, or Brady's in Kentucky had the bests deal when I was looking, I got the B3030, FEL and 60in Mid mount mower for 19700.00 delivered, and the 2920 was quite a bit lower, over 2k less and then subtract a mower and thats another 2k or so, call chris at Lawsons and Brady and see what works for you, both were excellent over the phone to work with, just went with the closer dealer for me, 100miles aposed to 500mile, it was my first tractor and I want ed to be sure I could get it to the dealer I purchased it from if thier was any problems, good luck, I kinda wish I would have bought the smaller B2920 over the larger 3030, just got 51 hrs on it now, I think I might be looking to trade it in on me a B2920, will be easier to mow the yard and neg. small areas,
Call Lawsons Kubota iN Virginia, or Brady Barlow in Kentucky, I got a B3030 delivered with FEL adn 60"MMM for delivered 19700.00, and I know with out the MMM and the model down you should be less than your quoted, I can't remember the prices I was quoted on the b2920, I have 50 hrs on my b3030 now and thinking about trading down to a b2920 myself for the smaller size, Chris is easy to deal with, good luck,

The price you got was even better unless it was a typo. toothbar, ballastbox, 40amp, and block heater isn't that much money. $700.00-ish.

I think that's a great price, I paid more for my 60" and I had to install it, the quoted price for the back hoe seems low. I got about $7300.

I think so! It is $150 less than what he quoted you before. Just curious why no MMM? Isn't that one of the main reasons you went with the Bx20 series tractor?

Well, quite honestly, I don't really have the extra money right now... as it is, it's been "challenging" to convince the wife to go along with this, which is why I don't have it parked at my place today...
Plus, I don't really need the MMM right now. I'm sure I will in the future, but I guess I'll have to deal with it then....
If I would have gone with the BX series, the MMM would definitely be part of the package, but with the B it's almost too big with the MMM and the smaller yard I mow now.

Oh, I forgot, the quote for the backhoe, when priced separate was $6,300, not $6,000 - he was just giving me a round-about with the $6k
