Bad Oil New Tractor

/ Bad Oil New Tractor #151
What gets me is that tractor wasn't running right and he doubled the original hours on it. If the darned thing was squealing like a dying animal, you would think something might not be right. The situation sucks, bu it is what it is.

Ditto.
And WHAT the heck was in that bucket??

Will be a near miracle if we ever find out the true story.. or the rest of the story as paul harvey would say.

Yep.. putting in oil you knew looked wrong was bad... using it while it squealed badly was.. well... ugly.

Kinda like hitting a crying baby to make it shutup... just not the right thing to do.. and it should be blatently obvious!

Well, just hit 100 hours and got my fluids and filter from the dealer. Even so, if when I open the jugs it looks wrong I won't use it!

This thread sure has some staying power, BTB I think has headed for the hills.

(Once way up north we told a buddy to go put gas in the old Ford 8n. A few minutes later driving along something wasn't right. We asked him what he did. He put the gas in the radiator!)

Stuff happens, we have to get past it.

I don't think we will ever know the outcome of this.

Same thing happened at work. Told the new guy to go fill up our forktruck. He came back, a little later, and it was still showing empty? We asked him why he didn't fill her up? He said he did. Then we noticed Diesel fuel dripping from the radiator. We still call him brainy, to this very day, although he is now our boss - over the warehouse.

If this thread is good for nothing else; it sure speaks volumes on the reasons to buy new, instead of used!
