Holy smokes, Sunday is Fathers day and I have not yet begun to think about what I want or need. Oh well, in as much as I will be the one buying, whatever, I guess I'm still safe. Any suggestion? Couple years back I bought the wife a JD Gator for Mothers day, I use it all the time.:D As a matter of fact I traded our JD 650 in for the 2320 last year on or about Mothers Day. What are the rest of you No Loads getting or hoping for? I think I like Mothers Day better!

Sounds like your doing better on "Mothers day"......I'm glad "YOU" liked "HER" gator:D

Now my wife & two children has bought me some tools & other things, but i haven't got no new tractors or attachments:D

I also get a big dinner for Fathers day and get to see my Father, and being with family is great.

Last couple years I got good tickets to Yankee games, but I just went a couple weeks ago so not sure. Sure wish there would be a nice new shiny BH65 attached to my tractor when I go to the barn but dont think thats happening. Spending the day w/ my wife and 3 kids will be present enough, I am sure they will have something planned. Happy fathers day to all you dads out there!

It would be nice to see a shiny new attachment sitting in the garage like a box blade or a subsoiler. Hey honey?! is this hint hint enough for you ? :p

Ah yes father day. I don't get anything and don't want anything other than to spend some time with my kids. When they were young I used to take them fishing. For me its a day I take off from busting my butt on all the projects around here.

My kids, their spouses, and our grandson are coming here Saturday afternoon, so I don't know what they have planned.

But on Father's Day itself (Sunday), I know what's planned. Our youngest daughter is in charge of organizing a blood drive at their church to benefit the 3 year old son of one of their church members. The little boy has leukemia. So I'll go bleed a pint or so.:)

It's just me raising my daughter alone so I don't think she will be buying me any tractor toys.. I am going to take my Dad and Step Dad out to lunch though. I thank God for good health and my kid. I don't need much more than that.

I'm off to work a plastics trade show in Chicago, leave early Sunday morning for 4 days. Maybe next Sunday will be my fathers day. That gives my wife and kids another week to get me something.

After a close call with a chainsaw I think I will be getting all the Husquarna safety chainsaw equipment. No more crazy cutting trees in shorts and sandals.

I got exactly what I wanted - new string and a tune up for my compound bow. The gift that keeps giving:D

I think I'll visit my dads gravesite,(passed away 3.5 years ago) say a quick prayer for him; visit my moms gravesite, (passed away 24 years ago) say a quick prayer for her. May they RIP! Roger

I usually get clothes for fathers day. Update the ratty stuff I've been wearing. I happen to know though, my great wife got me two tickets to a BB-King/Buddy Guy concert at Bethel woods. Will take my son, she's not into Blues. For the fun stuff, like tools, and machines, I take care of that myself. Why wait for a holiday? :D

About the only thing I'll be getting for father's day is a phone call from our daughter and grandkids. The wife is visiting them as we speak. Unfortunately none of the gift giving days hold any special meaning anymore since we lost our son 2 years ago while serving our country. Will most likely go visit him Sunday.

Most of us can only imagine the pain.

A salute to your son for his Service and Sacrifice. A Salute to you Sir as a Father who has lost a son. (To your wife as well.

A card, a phone call, some slippers, a subscription to a magazine... BORING.

This year I'm taking my dad to one of the premier events on the pacific northwest: the Lind, Washington Combine Demolition Derby and Wheat Truck Race. Wow, not your typical present. He will remember loud smoke-belching diesel smelling displays of redneck violence and destruction of huge farm machinery long after some golf club cover.

Here's to you dad!

My deepest sympathy to all those who've lost a father or son (along with all other loved ones).

As I sit here trying to type this response with my six year old mini-boss insisting on talking to me, distracting me, interupting my thoughts, insisting I come up stairs for my surprise breakfast, while she's leaning on my shoulder yawning because she got up early out of excitement for today, I am reminded of just how fortunate I am.

Wishes to all for a great fathers day and wishing fond memories to those who've lost loved ones.

Sincerely,
Joel
