Do any of yall know anything about the Landpride rcr 1560 mower. I have the opportunity to purchase this model for $500. It probably has less than 20 hours on it. It has been sitting for about 2 years. However, it looks like new except sun fading.

I'd say that if it looks like it might run then you should jump on it! That's a great price for a very quality cutter. :p

I Agree , I Just Recentlly bought a 6 foot Landpride finish Mower Site unseen & Its a Tough piece of Equipment. I also got it for 500 bucks off of Craigslist . I Would Assume the Bush hog would have Less Issues then the Finish Mower . Bob

I would have to agree as well. I bought 1548 (4ft) Landpride some years ago and used it for about 6 years. Sold it and the tractor I was using it with last year. It's a very well made, medium duty mower that should give you great service. I know mine did. That's a great price on it to.

I have the RCR1548 and love it. Cuts well, easy to set up and adjust, and Landpride have all of their manuals on line for free. You won't be disappointed.

I agree it's probably a good deal. If there is a way, hook it up to test it. I hope you were meaning the "Bush Hog" brand finish mower. Most people don't realize "Bush Hog" is the name of a company, not a mower. "Bush Hog" makes several styles of mowers and other implements. When people talk about a bush hog, most mean a rough cut mower (aka brush mower, rotary mower/cutter). Its like folks calling all tissues "Kleenex".

Yes I was Talking about a brush mower , I have one as well but its a king cutter . I just meant it would probally have less to go wrong with it using no belts . As I wasn,t sure if the OP was talking about a finish mower or not, I,m not familiar with model #,s . Bob
