I bought one of these and use it in my grapple circuit. LIMBHOG.com It is not always a perfect cut but on my farm it does a great job. I can cut more in one hour that uses to take a full day.
So what's the proper length?Many people without pruning experience tend to cut the limb leaving too long a stub or cut too close to the trunk cutting off the branch collar. Either case is an invitation for disease and rot to get started.
