Pulled the trigger on a new 90" Landpride power rake and a Kubota 72" L-series 4/1 bucket.

Kubota has a deal where they will finance Landpride and Kubota attachments for 0% for 60 months.

Dealer's shop is going to scuff & paint the orange bucket black so it won't look silly on my yellow & black Challenger.

It came down to the Harley & Landpride brands. The Harley has some really sweet features, but the Landpride was cheaper, seems stouter and has the 0% financing for 60 mo. Couldn't resist.

With the 0% financing, I probably should have bought a set of forks, too.

Just out of curiosity what does a Kubota 4 N 1 run?

$2200. I thought it was a bargain considering it weighs #825. I found lighter 4/1's that were a few hundred cheaper, but they didn't have 0% for 5 years financing. Looks like a rugged bucket, too. I found heavier buckets made by Bobcat, but they were over $3,000 and they were 1,000 lb buckets-probably too heavy for a 47HP mid size.

I was afraid the Kubota bucket at #825 was too heavy.

Now I need to decide if I want teeth on it.

Hate to ask what did the rake cost you?

Trust me, you want teeth on it. I bought a 4n1 last year. I found the 4n1 function marginally useful (ended up buying a grapple this year) but the difference moving from a smooth bucket to a toothed bucket made the purchase worthwhile.

My 4n1 bucket weights over 1000# which is a little too heavy for my tractor but I doubt that I will end up bending it. It is a bruit.

I agree. I think I will spring for welded-on teeth.

The Deere 4n1 weighs about the same as the 'Bota's. Wanna recall that the Deere model was around $2,800. So, you got a deal there.

But.... you didn't fess up to the "kick-in-the-wallet" for the Landpride power-rake! :D :D

Gonna guess -- $5,500. Close?

I would guess closer to 10K. A 6 foot used still goes for 3500. I'm sure he plans to use it alot to make it pay for itself.

You're a bit high.

A new 6 footer is over 8 grand now.

I bought a 91" (7.5'+)

$9,200 :(

And I got a pretty good deal.

Let's hope so. I have 2 jobs waiting final grading.

I was really torn over buying a 72" or a 90" power rake.

My rear tires are 72", so it might cover my tracks when straight, but it won't when angled.

So I sprung for the big boy. Hope my jobs stay big, too.

I wonder what manufacturer makes the 4in1's for Kubota? ATI?

I was told that Kubota builds there own 4n1? On my B26 the 4n1 bucket is built a little differant than all the other I have seen don't know if that is the case with yours.

When you get your 4n1, would you please post pictures of it. Some front, back and side views would be great.

Sure! Should be here later next week. I'm having it painted The Kubota (and Challenger) frame color, it's like a charcoal grey. It comes form the factory Kubota orange which would look funny with my yellow & grey Challenger.
