Fenders OFF

Has anyone taken the fenders off a DK45S ROPS before? I want to have clearance for some Canadian logging chains, ey. A tear comes to my eye when I think about getting out the reciprocating saw.

They are out all the way...as suggested by bearhawk I may need to look into spacers. I could use the extra width for my hills anyway.

CrazyQ, If you are thinking about wheel spacers I just had a set made for my LB1914. I was not able to get my chains on because the tire was so close to the fender. I had them made by Fred Geoske at Wheeladapter.com. The quality was great and he had them done in less than a week from the time I placed the order. Check him out.

Thanks...but my clearance issue is at the front of the tires not the inboard side. I think if I remove the trim piece and shorten the front of the fenders by about 12" I could make it...its hard pill to swallow cutting up these fenders but it must be done...the spacers would not help in my situation....
