I recently bought a PTO operated leaf blower for my BX and I'm wondering if it is possible to keep the three point hitch in the raised position while still operating the mid mount lift for the mower deck. Also on a totally unrelated note, I can't seem to get the mower deck to lock into the "Top" position when its raised all the way, I can only get the knob turned to the 4" marking, Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I have disconnected the lower trailing arms and connected them to the 2 stationary points near the 2 real lift arms. Its just 2 holes in flat stock near the rear fenders. This allows the 2 lift arms to move with out moving the implement, I can try to get a picture tomorrow.

Chain up the 3pt hitch.
Remove the adjuster for the deck and grind about 1/16" off the top "step"

The green circle is the area where you can put the arms so they dont move

I had the same issue when my BX1850 was new. Standing behind your BX (and assuming it's the same as mine) there should be a long rod pointing down and toward the front of the tractor at the top left side of the 3PH with an adjusting nut on it. The nut limits the motion of the deck lift arms. I forget which way you need to turn it, but adjusting that nut should let you rotate your deck height knob to the "Top" position. Good luck.
