Maybe, but I've only seen them on foot. I've been told they have used a sxs, but I haven't seen. The trail wouldn't accomodate a regular company truck. It wouldn't be able to navigate their 25' ROW either. I would never deny them access to this path...

As far as having to pry the collar, it most likely is rusted. Look inside and you'll see 3 ball bearings that should move freely. WD-40 or catalyst of your choice will free it up.

Is it a modular home or mobile home? Two different homes. Surprised that 2x3 walls, must be frigid in winter. While we have no building codes in my town, VT requires snow load levels, as well as insulation levels, window insulation levels. Min R 60 in ceiling/attic.

2 years into our modular, not a single crack. If it's built right from he begining, there should be no issues of cracking. And that is after transport. They are designed and made to withstand transport. All depends on the quality of builder I guess... Stick builders will tell you horror stories...
