what did you do with the F&L drop spreader you had

My john deere lx279 lawn tractor wont turn over. Battery is fully charged. when I turn the key the first two lights come on. When I turn the key all the way the third light turns on but that is it. no click no engine turn over. what should I start looking at first?

New GC1732E with FL1805 and mid mount mower.

Problem I have is with PM's.
-I don't get emails advising me of new PM's as I used to.
-PM link (in the blue band) are hidden behind (on my 'puter) behind ( a red 'box' that has '12' showing)
-the 12 messages are all very old ones and not even the newest showing when I click that box.
-also how can I delete those old 12 messages? no delete button that I could find.

Hi. Read your comment from 8 yrs ago. Need a spot for 18x20' pole shed, digging into a hill, 46" deep at far end. My Kubota BX1880 with FEL & tooth bar digs well. Might buy a box blade if that'd help much; useful for the gravel driveway and new one to the new shed.

Is it unrealistic to dig 18' long, ending 4ft deep on the far end? Any advice would be great; thanks for "listening" .
