Bird - yup, just had zucchini and yellow squash last night. Baked with a little Italian season and fresh ground black pepper.

Also, really like the flower blossoms dipped in egg and fried.

A friend's wife gave us this one for all that zucchini:



DONNA担 ZUCCHINI RELISH


10 CUPS CHOPPED ZUCCHINI SEEDED
3 CUPS CHOPPED ONION 2 LBS
1 RED & 1 GREEN PEPPER CHOPPED
5 TABLESPOONS SALT
(SET OVER NIGHT )
NEXT DAY RINSE IN COLD WATER AND DRAIN THROUGHLY

HEAT TOGETHER
2 ｽ CUPS DARK VINEGAR
6 CUPS SUGAR
3 TEASPOON CAVIAR SPREAD
2 TEASPOON MUSTARD SEED
2 TEASPOON TUMERIC
2 TEASPOON CLEERY SEED
4 TEASPOON CORN STARCH
ｽ TEASPOON PEPPER

ADD ZUCCHINI MIXTURE AND COOK 30 MINUTES, STIRRING OFTEN
YIELDS 6 PINTS (12 8 OZ JARS)
