Zerk Fittings- Kubota L3400

Best bet is to pull them out and take them to your local hardware store. My guess is they're 1/8th pipe thread (or 3 mm if metric), but guesses aren't always correct.

Mine are 1/8 pipe thread, at least that size fits in the hole. I had to replace one early on.

I had one bad zerk on my FEL on my L4400HST. I removed it and showed it to the dealer. The parts guy opens a drawer and hands me one from loose stock--on the house. As said earlier, best bet is to take the original out for exact replacement.

Be aware that in my case (about 4 times now) when I have broken a zerk off I've had to use an Easy Out to remove the threaded part remaining in the hole before I could reinsert a new fitting (obviously)...so, be prepared that you, too, may have to remove some busted parts before putting in a new one.

mine are 8mm

8mm (.3149") is just over 5/16ths (.3125"). That's a right big zerk fitting.
I think you're confusing the wrench size (required to remove the fitting) for the thread size. A 1/8th pipe thread does look bigger then 1/8th inch.

The most common sizes are 1/16 and 1/8 NPT, the nipple itself is the same size. The check ball and spring came out of mine, replaced it soon after.
