ZD326 Deck won't lower

I have a ZD326 and the deck will raise up so you can adjust the height of the cut I want but will only go part of the way back down. No arms seen to be bent so the only thing I can think of is the hydraulic cyclinder. Any suggestions?

The only instance I have seen a problem with the Z line concerning the issue of not lowering the deck was just a rust issue. That particular mower had been in a flooded area for who knows how long. You may get more responses if you add some detail to your story. Does the deck move at all up or down? Can you hear the hydraulic system run over relief when raising the deck? Does the engine rpm drop when you raise the deck? What were the conditions or circumstances when you were last able to run the mower properly? Good luck!

Never owned a Z but on 2 different Kubota Fs I've been mowing with them shortly after buying them and raised the deck and it wouldn't come back down. 1st time called Gary at Barlows after looking at everything to see if I could see an obvious problem. He told me to turn the knob behind the seat that controls the lift and drop speed, which I did which I never had to do again on that mower. My latest purchased F did the same thing, I didn't call Gary this time, just turned the knob located in the same place on the F and the problem was/is solved. Somewhere on your Z you'll have one of those knobs, probably.
