Z520A - Error Code 3/1 is killing me.....HELP!!!!

I have a Z520A which has run flawlessly until this problem crept up. While mowing, what happens is that the cutter shuts off and i get a "3-1" error code. Sometimes I can fool it into restarting y activating the hydraulic deck lift, but usually I have to shut off the ignition, restart the engine, and then it runs fine for another 1 to 10 mins before the same thing happens again.

The manual says it's an "over voltage" condition, and I have tried all of the things suggested (reseating connectors, cleaning the battery terminals, etc...)

Anyone have any other experience with this?

My local dealer closed up shop last year, so I am now faced with a very long drive to the nearest dealer so very much would like to sort this out on my own if possible.

OK, I sorted it out. After calling the nearest remaining dealer and getting no useful guidance, I decided the culprit was likely the battery. When I tested it, the results were odd: CCA were much higher than the rating, and the voltage was borderline low. Replaced the battery and the problem is solved. Just thought i'd share this in case anyone else is scratching their head and having odd error codes relating to an 'over voltage' condition.
