YTH1542XP - MOWER QUIT - CLUTCH???

Last mow job in the fall the mower quit working - would not clutch in, think it may be the clutch. Looks like clutch is on the shaft with a bolt through the clutch to engine shaft. Do you need a puller to get off? Any words of wisdom on trouble shooting clutch to determine if really bad? Anyone changed a clutch and have suggestions on procedure to change? Mower is 12 years old and has been almost trouble free.

original poster here - confirmed today that I have power to clutch but nothing happens, ordered new clutch from dealer - ouch - about $250 (same as on-line price from 2 different on-line parts houses)
Dealer says relatively easy to change, disconnect power, drop the bolt out, remove. Install new one with keyway in place, watch for retainer in correct position so it does not "spin free", reconnect power - should be back in business by next week.
