I've spent some time at the nuclear plant here in MO. They have a "heavy-haul road" that was used during construction to bring the equipment the 5-6 miles from the river (it came in on barges) to the plant. The road is gravel, and was specially constructed to carry the heavy loads. They replaced the steam generators a few years back, and the equipment used to move these 350 ton (I think that's what they weighed) pieces of equipment was massive. It was quite a site to see!

That is a nuclear pressure vessel, so yes. A waste of money sine the plant was mothballed.

We get these at work to move very heavy machinery, the biggest one we had has 108 tires on it. moves with 3 escorts plus highway patrol

Thanks, just googled it, they certainly look heavy.
