Hosting is easy. I host one on a business DSL line with a windows XP professional machine. GoDaddy gives you your domain name (DNS). On goDaddy you put the IP address that you want your name to resolve to. example, your ISP gives you a static IP of 192.168.10.1 (well, they won't give you that exact one) and you go to godaddy and register eddiewalker.com, and you link it to your IP address.
She did a good job, looks nice.
