Your last generator Maintenance Run

Lost power during wind storm about 20 minutes ago. Was making breakfast. Nice to be back cooking 15 seconds later.View attachment 668945. Man is it windy out there . Blowing dust obscuring everything.

Its pretty cool. I can see real time draw on generator as appliance load changes. Been on for nearly 4 hours now. Usually i shut it down if power outage is during the day, but wife has friends downstairs quilting.

Yup. The sucky part is, i can see trees down in areas that i just cleared up this spring. It looks like i have not done anything this year out there. Pisses me off

It gets really old by the 3rd or 4th day but by the 10th or 12th you just wonder when it's going to end.

Now at 12 hours run. The air conditioner soft starter has worked great. Hardly see a blip in the lights when the 4 ton compressor runs. I look out the window.....all black. Hardly any lights. Spooky. I wish i had my xmas light so i could turn them on.

Many without power in record heat due to PGE PSPS.

Me thinks more generators will be sold... 112-115 F. Even SF reached 100.

I have solar but only when the grid is up...

Our power came back last night around 10:30. That was a 14 hour outage. I have heard back from some of my customers that there power is still out. I have had no calls for gen trouble during this outage....yeah.
Generac itself has no generators to send to california. There 82,000 generators back ordered a few weeks ago.
