ive tried everything to tell them how to do this...doesnt help. i still get the call. Then again...the calls do get me alot of requests to do service on the generators, or remind the clients to do the service or at least LOOK at their generators. the good thing is that the yellow light condition will not stop the generator from operating normally. How about a nice little sticker on the panel:....

I had a funny call the other day. a guys generator wouldnt start. I went to look at it, and sure enough i could not get it to start. it was only 1 year old. I started to check gas pressure and noticed that both internal fuel lines inside generator coming from the fuel regulator were kinked. They weren't like this when i installed the unit. i started to move the hoses and noticed that as i pushed them back towards regulator they rounded out again. It appeared as if they were too long and had moved as the weather got hot and the hose softened up. I was going to remove and trim hoses, but instead i found i could push them back in and zip tie them internally to a solid intake shroud by motor. now they are nice and round and cant move anymore. The unit fired right up. Im hoping that this was a fluke. I looked at another unit i have in stock and the lines had no movement to them. now i have to add this to my check list during service calls in the future.
