If you haven't already figured it out I'll freely admit it, I'm a bit of a gadget freak.
Whenever I see an interesting tool that looks like it will make a job easier I try to snatch it up. Wanted to share with you what I consider to be my favorite tool.
It's a Eliminator socket set. Yes, I know what you're thinking sockets are a dollar a dozen these days. But let me explain why this set is a bit more special. Yes, with the included adapter it looks and functions like a conventional 3/8" ratchet wrench and will accept standard 3/8" sockets sold all over the USA.
But, if you remove the adapter and pop in one of the Eliminator sockets your ratchet wrench will now accommodate bolts and threaded rod of any length, all but eliminating the need for deep-well sockets.
Best of all it was purchased at a NAPA store, and made by Armstrong right here in the good old USA, so it's is a quality product!
PS Did I forget to mention that the box is New Holland blue?
So what qualifies as your favorite tool and why?
