I can’t stand trailers and I don’t like running tractors on the road for more than a mile or two. This is what I do if I need to go further than that: View attachment 838478

Looks cool, but I don't see any implements attached. Any good farmer can handle towing a trailer, so maybe just do a little practicing!

A few years back, we had a PA trooper around here who wrote tickets for leaving a ball hitch in the receiver when not towing. I don't know how many just paid the $50 fine before someone challenged it in court. The officer couldn't produce the non existent statute and the judge threw it out.

It's sad that law enforcement can't always be trusted.

I always take mine out when not using it, just to keep from hearing the rattle. It is on my van, not a pickup, so the rattle can get pretty loud and annoying!

I do too, so I don't take out a kneecap.

As my tractor has no cab, I have ordered and installed mudguards. Without them winter driving was mess.

My next tractor will have front fenders because it DOES have a cab. I keep waiting for a piece of stray gravel to crack that big windshield that goes all the way to the floor.

I bought the front fenders on my 3039. They're really neat the way they follow the wheel when turning, and really expensive.

Steerable fenders are an invaluable accessory for roading. As mentioned above, it can protect from stone chipping, but from a more practical standpoint, it keeps mud from flinging onto your front and side glass when you hit higher speeds.

A must have for roaded tractors.

For me it’s the trans canada hwy and the new canadian transport driver are all over the place which make its very scary, I still do it but you have to watch your back … 10km is probably my max to ride it further then that I would trailer it.
