You Know You Are Old When

And everyone complains aboot coffee. What happened when most people took a thermos to work. I used to take 2. Now everyone is lined up like sheeple trying to get their overpriced awful beverage on the way to work.
B-tch, b-tch, b-tch...
Always made my coffee at home, and carried it to work in a classic Stanley themos, back when I worked in a factory and office.

Not only cheaper, but I can make it right.

About once a week I'll go to McDonalds for breakfast, order one sausage McMuffin at regular price, one more for a dollar, a large root beer, go light on the ice and round up for Ronald McDonald house.....

$6

The Sausage Biscuit at Hardees is better!

Every fast food breakfast sausage I've had has been to mild/sweet. I prefer a hot or spicy sausage either made as a sausage, egg, cheese muffin or biscuit.

Since we're on the subject of breakfast sandwiches, the best I ever had was from a small convenience store in North Turner, Maine. They were scrambled, mixed with ham, cheese, green peppers and onions; then cooked in a round form on the grill.
It's the only western breakfast sandwich I've ever had.

I've got those little metal egg rings too and we'll do that sometimes. Pretty tasty! (y)

If we go out for breakfast on the weekends, I'll usually order a vegetarian omelette with a side of sausage. Sounds weird, but you get more veggies in a vegetarian omelette at most places.

No Hardees anywhere near here. Always associated them with southern states, but apparently they're in Wisconsin too.
ISTR their burgers being kind of soggy, but to be fair, haven't been to one in 30+ years.
