But I’d not want to tow it hundreds of feet across the yard without opening them.

What my mower guy told me is you don't want to drag it more than a couple hundred of yards (after that all bets are off). I had him check to ensure I did it right (which I did LOL) when he was taking it off the trailer.

I had to drag it about 60 yards because wouldn't you know it, worst location possible (bottom of hill next to tree line) when the problem occurred.

On ground, dump valves not a big need, concrete or other hard pack surface, release the dump valves. A set of pump up car dollies works great for those instances!

I forgot to add, just a couple of days ago I had the trailer loaded up on boxes, pallets and an assortment of junk (bunch of stuff from a heat pump replacement I did at home the other week) that I was going to take to the landfill today.

Had to dump everything on the lawn from the trailer and this morning just put everything back onto the trailer.

Talk about perfect timing.

My wife talks to her knees after getting up to motivate them to work....

After one episode of pulling the dead Mule onto the trailer with a come- along in 100° weather, I now have a Warn winch and battery on the front with a wireless remote control.

I have used a come-along to load a 45 HP Massey on a trailer, but on that weight of machine I have loaded by FEL with straps. I don't know that a Zturn has points to where a strap would not cause damage, but if it did, that would be my choice. On both of my situations I could roll them off at the destination (my house where I could work on them), both were geared.

Had a pulley issue on the mower, and my wife and I couldn't get the mower on the trailer. Brain over brawn (if anyone else has a better idea with a mower that won't move, let me know), but my shoulder was still feeling pretty bad that night trying to muscle it on originally.View attachment 4078277

Looks like the perfect example of why you should spend $$$$ and get a 12,000 pound winch, battery, battery isolator, heavy cables from front of truck to rear, etc... in case it happens one more time in the future.

Funny thing, I actually thought about it

Know if a second time it should happen and know to jackknife the trailer to a more straight shot pulling with a second truck, for return on investment, I'll go with the two truck method for now LOL
