I have a York ( super ? ) Workman , it's not in bad shape . I'd like to get an idea of fair market value just for a reference if I ever want to sell it.

Here are a couple of pictures :

Clicking on any of the above pictures will take you to the photo bucket album with a bunch of pictures in it.

If the cool factor goes into the value - it's worth a fortune!

Finding the guy that wants it is tuff to do. There is a functioning one similar to yours up the road from me about 7 miles. He advertised in Craigslist off and on for over a year trying to get $500 for it. The last time I drove by it was still there.

As a machine it's probably not worth much more than the scrap iron value, but it is rare so if you could find someone who had a real use for it or wanted to restore it you might be able to get a bit more out of it.
Maybe one of the machinery shows like the Pageant of Steam might be a good place to try to sell it.

welcome from another local CNY guy,
how long have you had this grader?

Around here even the basic, minimal, towed graders are usually listed between $1000 and $2000. Very seldom have I seen one under $1000.

This week on CL for $1200:

Just a rough guess , I think my Dad bought it in the mid - late '80s . It was all restored and painted up and sitting on a lot just off 481 near Fayetteville ny.
The " MARSH FARM " stenciled on the back was from that restoration.
my Dad and his friend used it to take care of the road to camp . Last use way 8 or 9 years ago and it still worked perfect.

Not much resto work to do to it ( IMHO) . I'd like to see it go to someone / someplace that will actually use it for what it is built to do. If someone wants to just drag it around to shows and such , well that's fine with me as well . It's just going to need good loving home at some point in time. It doesn't cost me anything to keep it and it's worth that + in sentimental value for me.
