I have a 6 foot york rake and have never been very successful using it. Its on a Kubota B8200. First off, i cant get it properly level at all heights, 2 to 3" lower on one side. I suppose the linkage is a bit worn on the 3 point. However, this rake has 2 wheels that follow behind. I have never used the wheels and am wondering what the purpose of them is. Im not working with truckloads of fresh topsoil. I usually filling in 20' depressions from trees stumps i removed in the past. Im working the 3 point up and down as i spread dirt which probably isnt right. Any suggestions.

The wheels are designed to follow the contours of the land and avoid the rake digging in and causing depressions in the soil. If you use them and have them properly adjusted they work well to level the area if it is flat, or evenly spread the soil if the land is sloped.
