OK, an old thread, BUT this just happened last afternoon. Moving along just fine, had to stop, put the PS in neutral. waited for traffic to clear and then selected PS 1 to go. I just sat there.

Anyways, I'm about to pull the suction filter out to take a peek.

QUESTION. What does everyone use to clean this filter? wire brush, air hose, water faucet, diesel fuel ??? That's the only thing I didn't read here.

Air hose and whatever cleaner melts your butter. Can't tell you what cleaner I use, would get in trouble.

Too funny. I'll do the air hose and brake cleaner. That's a safe bet anyway.
