Ok on Hoye's web site they have a clutch replacement section. It says pull out the main shaft from a coupler to use it as the clutch alignment tool. I have been pulling on that shaft by hand and taping while pulling with a brass hammer but no luck. Is it different with a 4x4 tractor??? Do I need to pull shifter off??
Need help
Thanks

Huh! I would take the clutch to a auto parts store and buy a plastic alignment tool or may even rent one the size of your main shaft. Then use it to align your Clutch and pressure plate lock it down and then remove it. Then the trans should slide right in. Basicly the same thing if you could remove your main.
