If the condition is the same, the 2010 should be several hundred $ more. The smoother engine, power shift and gauges make the 2010 a very nice machine but the 2000 will get the job done just as well. I chose the 2000 due to cost, parts availability and it's easier to work on. A close dealer would be a plus if he is reputable.

I have a 2010D - Great tractor!! It has given me very little trouble and has done a ton of work around the place. I have a Leon loader on it and wouldn't consider a tractor without a loader. If you want more info, let me know!

Hi Travis,
I have sold several YM2010's and keep one for my personal mowing tractor. The powershift is very smooth, the 3 cylinder engine is very fuel efficient and smooth running. I run a 6foot First Choice finish mower for mowing my 4 acre lawn, a 4 foot King Kutter Brush mower for mowing in my tree nursery, a 5 foot 3pt rototiller to do all of the neighborhood gardens in the spring. I bought a nice suspension seat setup from Agri Supply along with an AM/FM cassette fender mounted radio for those long mowing days. Check out pics on my website.
If it were me, I'd go with the 2010 though both are excellent tractors.
Happy Holidays
Nick
