YM 2020D - Front Axle Leak - Gasket part number needed

I'm interested in your version Aaron ....my concern is the inner portion of this is 113mm assuming this from the measurements of the gasket. the one Winston listed is 115mm....wont that just flop off?

Yes our version would be very loose also. The minimum diameter for ours is 114.88mm. If yours is 113mm then, most likely, a previous owner had the same problem and had the casting turned down to get to smooth metal again. I have seen that many times on those knuckles. They really have a hard life with dirt getting trapped there and acting like sandpaper wearing into the casting.

Is there any visible numbers on your old seal? To make that work they would have needed to replace the seal with something like a 113x145 seal. In theory you could find a 113mm sleeve and a 113x145 seal and make it work again. Or have a local machine shop build it back up and turn it back down to 115mm.

I quoted 113 but realize that is wrong....should read 13.5 right? or maybe 115?

If the seal you removed was a 115x145x13.5 (115mm ID x 145mm OD x 13.5mm thick) then that will be the factory seal size and so, more than likely, your casting has not been previously repaired. The normal repair sleeve should work fine but I would probably measure it if possible just to be sure.

TCS oil seals are measured this way.
They are a China company now, no longer Japan.

If you pay more than $18 for one, then you are taken to the cleaners. These seals are common in various brands and not that pricey.

I saw Southern Global listing theirs USED for a mere $62. Highway robbery!

The metal and rubber composite, the most expensive is at $16.

I measured as best as I could and its 115MM. Is this something I should order from you or go elsewhere?
