Price Check ym 2000 to sell

I am going to sell my Yanmar YM 2000. It is a great tractor, but it sits far to much to justify keeping. The steering column gear box is out. My question is, since I am not mechanically inclined. Is it sellable as is, or should I spend to get it fixed? Thanks for the advice.

You will get more for it if its in working order, however it should sell as-is if that is the only problem.

Repair kit Yanmar Tractor Parts: STEERING REBUILD KIT is pricey and complete new steering Yanmar Tractor Parts: STEERING GEARBOX ASSEMBLY - NEW! is sure pricey. I would think you would have to take most of the price of a new steering unit if you sell as is.

In my area a good used ym2000 will go from about $2,500 to $3,000. That's with no mechanical issues.

It has a front end loader, and a bush hog. Was probably gonna get rid of an extra bush hog and box blade to sweeten deal. Was considering $3500, relatively firm.

If thats all thats wrong i think you will sell it fast! Thats usually a price smoody gave for one without loader. The loader is prolly worth 1K, then all the attachments just say $150 easy for. Where are you?

correct in the price I mentioned was a ym2000 without a loader. again that's my area of the country, seems some midwest areas get a bit more for their yanmars.
