I have a YM 186D that I am trying to find a set of rear wheels for. I currently have 9.5 x 16 tires. The wheels are 6 lug. Thanks for any help.

Are you looking for wheels or tires or both? Since it is part time 4wd. The fronts should be size 6x12 tires on the original rims. If so, it needs to keep the front to rear 4wd ratio correct. You can do that by simply buying new standard Ag R1 type 9.5 x 16 tires for the rear. Use the existing rear wheels unless they are damaged.

Thanks for the information. I have already replaced the front wheels and tires. I am having a lot of trouble finding rear wheels. I have spoken with tractor places all over the country and no one seems to have the rear wheels.

Have you looked at the SpareX USA site?

We get a lot of questions on TBN from new owners looking for odd size tires, but few if any from anyone looking for wheels....so I'm curious what happened to the originals.

In the 1980s, John Deere sold the model JD650 which was 100% made by Yanmar and rebadged as a JD. It also used that same 9.5x16 size rear rim. It was also six bolt, and probably the same dimensions....probably the same wheel, in fact.

Several older Yanmars - the lime green ones - used that rim as well.
Luck,
rScotty - an old Yanmar guy
